Preparing for the Bris
Please designate a private room with a table or desk for pre- and post-circumcision examination. Try to have the baby fed no later than 60 minutes before the Bris.
Dress the baby in an outfit that allows easy access from the bottom. An open-bottomed “gown” is best. A two-piece outfit is okay; I will remove the pants while preparing him for the Bris. A one-piece outfit is okay if the entire bottom opens up. A pair of socks will keep his feet warm; make sure they aren’t very loose, or they may get lost during the ceremony.

If the baby has already been born, call at any hour of the day or night. If I can't take your call, it will go into voicemail. Sabbath calls (beginning at sundown on Friday) should be delayed until an hour after sundown on Saturday.
