Preparing for the BrisPlease designate a private room with a table or desk for pre- and post-circumcision examination. Try to have the baby fed no later than 60 minutes before the Bris.
Dress the baby in an outfit that allows easy access from the bottom. An open-bottomed “gown” is best. A two-piece outfit is okay; I will remove the pants while preparing him for the Bris. A one-piece outfit is okay if the entire bottom opens up. A pair of socks will keep his feet warm; make sure they aren’t very loose, or they may get lost during the ceremony. |
